Dominican Rep. LDC Superior round 1 best performance: Sammy Rodriguez (by Hoops Agents) 

Dominican guard Sammy Rodriguez had a very impressive game in the last round for CPN, receiving a Taco Bell LDC Superior League Player of the Week award for round 1.

The 22-year old player was the main contributor (25 points, five rebounds and five assists) to his team's victory, helping them to edge out Immortals (0-1), the league's bottom-ranked team 94-92. CPN is placed at 2nd position in Dominican Republic LDC. Roderiguez showed his amazing three-point shooting nailing five in the second half. CPN will need more victories to improve their 1-0 record. 

Rodriguez was named Latinbasket.com All-LDC 2nd Team last season.  He looks to make a big impact on his new club.
