GIE Cibao Immortals ink Garcia

Immortals de Cibao (LDC) added to their roster star guard Oliver Garcia for new 2023-24 season. It is actually his comeback to the Immortals as he has played here before. Garcia played this summer at Metros in the LNB. In 13 games just recently, he recorded 8.3ppg, 1.6rpg and 1.6apg. Garcia was named the 2022 LDC Super League Player of the Year, while averaging an impressive 26.3ppg.


He is quite experienced player. His career allowed him to visit three different continents, while he played in four different countries. Garcia tasted the life as pro basketball player in Latin America, Australia and of course North America. He has played previously professionally in Colombia (Motilones), Dominican Republic (San Carlos, Marineros, Plaza, Parque Hostos and Correcaminos), UBA (GIE Maile M.) and Tonga (Tonga NT). Garcia was also voted to Latinbasket.com Mitchell Americas Cup All-Defensive Team back in 2015 and 2016.

He won United Cup Superior championship title in 2022.
