Immortals Win 2k26 Lopez Cup Championship

SANTIAGO, Dominican Republic — The GIE Cibao Immortals captured the 2026 Felipe Lopez Cup Championship with a dominant 121–91 victory over the LDC Ignite to secure the 2k26 title.
Ameth Gil (191-SG-1988) was named Lopez Cup MVP after leading all scorers with 32 points, knocking down 6-of-13 from three-point range in an outstanding championship performance.
Brandon Hill (185-G-1987, college: Potomac St.) delivered one of the most impressive all-around performances of the tournament, finishing just one field goal shy of a triple-double with:
8 Points 10 Rebounds 10 Assists Edwin Espinal (198-SF-1996) added a strong double-double performance with 17 points and 10 rebounds, helping the Immortals control the game from start to finish.
The LDC Ignite were led by Kylon Jarreau (185-G, college: Adrian), who finished with 25 points and 4 rebounds in the loss.
